February-March 2006 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How wonderful to have the opportunity to serve the Lord God of Heaven and earth! The psalmist in Psalm 48:1 stated it very clearly when he said, ‘Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised…’. The Lord continues to show Himself greater to me every day and that is the wonderful beauty of living the Christian life itself.

God has blessed in a marvelous way in the meetings so far in 2006 and has continued to supply our needed support. Since the beginning of the year, the Lord has supplied at least five more supporting churches. We thank Him that our support level continues to rise and that we currently have 30% of our needed monthly support. Please join us as we (my fiancé Sara and I) pray for the Lord to supply 50% of our support by the time that we are married in June.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers as the Lord tremendously blessed the eight meetings that I had the opportunity to be a part of in the month of February. In addition, the Lord allowed me to travel 5,805 miles safely to arrive at these meetings. The prayers of God’s people are precious in His sight and it is only by earnest prayer that God truly blesses lives and ministries. Thank you for your part in the ministry that God has given to us.

Just want to give you an update on the wedding plans. As I write this letter on March 15, it is just 100 days until we will be married on June 23. The Lord recently allowed us to secure an apartment in Knoxville, TN where we will be living after we are first married. It is exciting to be preparing the place where we will spend our first days together as a married couple. Please pray that the Lord would give us wisdom as we choose and buy furniture and other necessities for our new little house.

In closing, please remember me in prayer as I travel and present our ministry in churches in the states of West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina during the remainder of the month of March. Also, please be praying for the busy month of April to follow. During the month of April, I will have the opportunity to travel to churches in Michigan, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Virginia. Please also remember Sara as she finishes up the semester at Crown College and continues to make preparations for our wedding.
