September 2006 Prayer Letter
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Thank you so very much for the continued prayers and financial
support that you have offered up on our behalf during this past
month. The message of Psalm 100:5 rings very true with its
timeless theme, “For the Lord is good; his mercy is
everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” We
are thankful to the Lord for His goodness and mercy in our
lives, and we are eager to share His truth with this generation
of needy people in Perú.
Our schedule this past month took us to meetings and missions
conferences in Virginia and North Carolina. We thank the Lord
for His hand of safety upon us as we traveled the miles to and
from these meetings. In October, we will have the opportunity to
travel to meetings in Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina,
and Georgia. We are excited about sharing our burden at these
churches and moving closer to realizing our goal - arriving in
Perú by July of 2007.
Our support level is nearing 40%, and we are thankful to the
Lord for that. We praise the Lord for two new churches
partnering with us in our ministry this month! Please pray that
the Lord would continue to bring in our support in a timely
manner. Also, please remember Sara in prayer as she endeavors to
complete her last year of schooling at Crown College of the
Bible. We are traveling on the weekends, and she is going to
school during the week, so I just ask that you would especially
pray for her to have the God-given strength that she needs to
accomplish the task that is before her. Please pray for me as I
preach in meetings, plan our schedule, and pray for the Lord’s
guidance in our lives. We rejoice in the opportunity to serve
the Lord together and to bring glory to His precious name.
Your Glad Servants for the Savior,
Robert and Sara Stover
