February/March 2007 Prayer Letter
Dear Prayer Partners,
Thank you:
We would like to thank each and every church and individual that
has been supporting us through their prayers and finances. Sara
and I do not want to take for granted the sacrifices that you
have made in order for us to serve the Lord and take the Gospel
to the people of Perú.
Also, we would like to thank the churches
that we have been in so far this year. You have encouraged us
greatly by your heart for missions and by your kindness to us.
We want to especially thank those from Bible Baptist Church in
Kingsport, TN, who really “rolled out the red carpet” for us at
their missions conference.
Praises:
- On February 18, we had the
opportunity to be at an all-day meeting in Penndel, PA. The
Lord allowed me to preach in the morning service and we saw
a young man come forward and accept Christ as his personal
Savior. Thank the Lord for the Word of God that “is quick
and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword” and for
the Holy Spirit of God who draws men to the Savior.
- The Lord allowed us to safely travel
3,757 miles in the month of February alone. We have claimed
this verse: Psalm 4:8b,
“…for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.”
Thank you for your prayers for our safety.
- Sara completed her student teaching
in the month of February and is now completing her final
class to graduate.
Progress:
The Lord has allowed us to reach 54% of our support. We have
seen 5 new churches take us on for support in the past month. We
are so thankful to the Lord for bringing us to this point for we
know that “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will
do it.” (I Thess. 5:24) We ask that you would pray that
the will of God be done for us to reach the country of Perú as
soon as possible.
