April/May 2007 Prayer Letter
Dear Prayer Partners,
We thank the Lord for His goodness and
kindness to us. He has prospered us in so many ways. How
wonderfully the psalmist states it in Psalm 100:5, “For the
Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth
to all generations.” The Lord has been good and merciful to
us, and it is our job to take the wonderful truth of the Gospel
to the uttermost parts of the earth.
Thank you for your prayers for Sara while she was finishing up
her college work. Graduation was on Monday, May 7th, and
everything went smoothly. Sara is happy to now be a “college
graduate.” Praise the Lord for the things that she will be able
to take out of the classroom for use on the mission field.
We are thankful to report that 2 new churches have taken
us on for support this past month. Our support level stands at
60%. Please pray that the Lord would help us to be able to fill
in our schedule for the remainder of the year and that He would
bring in our support in His perfect timing.
With much excitement we would like to share with you that Sara
is expecting our first child! She is due on September 9th, and
the doctor tells us that it is a baby boy. We are so happy that
God has blessed us in this way. Please pray for the health of
Sara and the baby as we travel and that the Lord would give us a
safe delivery.
It is the desire of our hearts to get to the country of Perú as
soon as possible. For this reason, we are asking you to pray
that the Lord would supply us with 35 more supporting churches
and individuals this year. We serve a wonderful God who hears
and answers prayers, and we are believing Him for great things.
Your Servants for Him,
Robert and Sara Stover
