September/October 2011 Prayer Letter
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
HEALTH UPDATE I
praise the Lord that I am doing much better and
gaining strength every day. Please pray that
during my next appointment in November, the
doctor will give me a clean bill of health.
Thank you for your prayers.
TRANSPORTATION In the middle of
September, my wife and I were able to travel out
to Missouri to pick up the van than we will be
renting during our time of furlough. We thank
the Lord for Baptist Missionary Transportation
Ministry and the great blessing they have been
to us and others traveling on deputation or
furlough. Please keep us in your prayers as we
travel in the days ahead.
PROGRESS We thank the
Lord for the opportunity to be a part of 2
Missions Conferences this past week here in
Carrollton, OH, including one in our home
church. We are excited about beginning to travel
full-time in January. Please pray that the Lord
will give wisdom as I seek to plan out our
schedule for the coming year. We already have
several meetings booked for the spring. If you
would like to have us come by your church to
present the work, please feel free to contact me
by e-mail:
rstover22@yahoo.com or on my cell phone:
330-323-3425.
Thank You! Thank you for
your faithfulness in prayer and financial
support. We appreciate those of you who have
contacted us to get more specific updates. It
means so much to know God’s people are lifting
us up in prayer. May the Lord bless you in a
mighty way!
We want to extend a special
thank you to our home church, the Carrollton
Baptist Temple, here in Carrollton, Ohio. We
have so enjoyed the time God has given us here
to be able to rest and recuperate, as well as
the opportunity to serve. Pastor Powell and
thepeople of the church have been such a
tremendous blessing to us during this time. We
just thank the Lord for how He always cares for
His own. (Psalm 37:25)
